I was hanging out at this mall which is fairly close to my home. My friend and I were smoking a blunt at the bus stop when a cop creeps around the corner then backs up around the corner so he's out of site. So we put out the blunt and gave it to a friend who was getting on the bus. After which the cop drove up quick as hell and told my friend to put his hand's behind his head for a search.

They immediately found his ten sack and cuffed him, gave him his ticket and led him on his way. I heard them say the other suspect was wearing all black but I was only wearing black shirt so i figured they didn't know it was me. So I got one the next bus. But as soon as I got on a cop ran on the bus and yelled at me to get off.

I got off and she immediately searched me finding my little sack after about 4 minutes of searching and my two cigarettes. She asked how old I was and I told her I was 18 but she wouldn't believe so she took me to the station in cuffs and called my parents to confirm, which they did. But they ahd to come pick me up.

All of this happened about a week and a half ago. Said "Posession of Small Amount of Marijuana" on the ticket. Just wondering how much trouble I can get into for this whole ordeal and if I could have avoided the search although they "saw me on camera".

Well aside from having a serious case of the "Dumbshits" by toking on the street, in public, at a freekin bus stop.... Sheesh.

Every time somebody gets busted on the street, outside of the privacy of their own home, it just drives another nail in the coffin to keep from making it legal.

Just take your lumps and deal with it.

I had a bus driver in highschool that was a pot head, and so long as he could smoke a joint on the bus, so could we.

so the hwole bus would get stoned, roll all the windows down. it was a small town, no cops in sight anywhere. it was sweet because i was on the bus for 3 hours everyday because its farm country and it was a hell of a long way to the high school.

I have never been busted for anything. I frequently have a joint in my cigarette pack when im out at the bar. and we leave the bar go for a walk around the corner. smoke, and its all good.

i did get lazy one day and smoked close to a main street, sure i was drunk as hell, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. and i went to take a toke as the cops drove past. they stopped at the intersection, and i was like well shit, but they just kept going, we were sure we were busted , but we didnt move, or say anything which is why i think we got away with it. if we had gotten up and drawn attention to ourselves im sure they would have come over to chat with us.

My friend got picked up today for having 55 grams on him with the intent to sell to a minor ands got a 22 grand bail on him so hes pretty much fucked and in illinois thats punishable for 1-3 years and 25,000$ fine for the first offense
