I actually agree with the Republicans on this one. If I remember correctly, the bill seeks to increase coverate to kids with an anual family income of $80,000 (from, I think,$50,000 or $60,000, can somebody help me on this?). Nancy Pelosi keeps touting "how can they oppose medicare for kids?" It's a gross over-simplification that gives the vauge and fuzzy image of "kids" rather than specifying the nuts and bolts. I'd rather have more coverage provided to those already in the prior lower-income bracket than help out the upper-middleclass that won't be able to make their trip to the Bahama's this year if a medical crisis comes up.
