I leave my MH 1k on 18/6 but the room is lit 24/0 as I have many floro's with seedlings, little ones going all the time.So essentially I run a 24/0 light schedule I just cut the big light to save on the electric bill.In my flowering room I run three 1k HPS on 240 which saves me quite a bit of money.Ive read and Ive read on this subject and am not sure Ive seen any conclusive evidence that one is significantly better than another method.I think with what we do its often times more of a "feeling".I do know the plants do not need "rest" or the dark period, that is just humans anthropomorphizing a plants light schedule. My "feeling" is that by having a 24/0 light schedule my girls flip "harder" and "quicker" when I take them to 12/12,just a "feeling" on my part.Again Ive done a lot of reading on the subject but I do not claim to be a botanist or an expert,I just play one in my grow room.Good luck with what ever you decide, take care,be well, and most of all be safe.

Also how many people use grow bags instead of an actual pot, im thinkin about using bags until flower then put them in pots for thier final resting place. Seems like if would be much easier to transplant. Rating: 5

    I'm a fan of 24/0 for 2 reasons:
-Constant temps are easier to maintain
-You can go in and bother them any time! If you're like me, you feel a need to visit your plants at say 3am if you can't sleep.
