I don't know how many times I say this but the keep to to secure it to your body which produces an extreme amount of heat so that it maintains the temperature, not so that it slows down the temperature drop to give you enough time to go to the lab. I can keep mine comfortably on me and at a nice 96-97 degrees for the whole day if I have to without heating pads and little tricks. practice, practice, practice.
