It's clarified butter, not cheese (The saturated fat content is excellent for absorbing the THC when simmering in butter, and then releasing it into the blood stream once eaten).

You can use ordinary butter if you don't have clarified (around 60 to 70 percent saturated fat content), it's just not quite as efficient (but it'll still blow your tits off compared to a regular firecracker).
