Clone time

OK ? I planted a clone on Sept 19th and there is still no roots and well it's not does however it's not rooting either, is there something I missed? The other clones that we had done all died and this is the only one that has lasted.. Does someone have any ideas???

You have to give much more info about the clone.
Environment, medium, hormone, prep of mother, where on the plant it came from.

It came from a mother plant that was in the flowering stage, it was taken from about the middle of the plant, also the mother plant had been growing in moss that comes with the hydroponics. We had been using bloom burst @ this time to get the ph and all that stuff right. Keep in mind the mother plant has died and that was when I left on vacation for 10 days, he had even said that the garden will need me back @ that time it told me he killed this and other things we have growing. I think that's what you need to know, however this is the first time for me to grow anything in a tank so I am not sure about the medium, hormone thing, so if I didn't answer what you asked just let me know and I will try and get it for you.

Wow - you cut the clone almost six weeks ago and it's still alive with no roots? Utterly amazing. How do you know it has no roots?

It's in a plastic cup and there is no roots on the bottom, unlike the seed I have growing that has sprouted and I will hopefully have 2 more seeds that I planted on the 20th grow so I can transplant all 3 and get 3 trees instead.

Well, at least you aren't pulling the cutting out of the medium to see if it has roots.

If you took the cutting six weeks ago and it is still alive, it almost certainly has some roots, regardless of if you can see them. So the question is, "why isn't the plant growing" more than "why isn't it rooting".

What light cycle do you have the plant under?

16/8 was on 24 for the first 6 weeks but now since the mother died I put everything in the tank in the cups with lids on them so they can grow better, they were under a grow light. I think the mother died with too much water and too much fertilizer and well in 10 days I don't know what he did to it so like 3 days later after I came home it died. I pulled the mother and let her dry the rest of the way upside down an what was budding can be used I guess.

I'm kind of curious. How much light are you using?
What size area?
What type of hydroponic system?
What ppm or EC is your food at now?
It's kind of tricky to help you with so little information.
