While you do speak the truth, for the most part, school is also a great way to indoctrinate children to certain beliefs. My main example for this would be the ridiculous "zero tolerance" policies popping up in many elementary, middle, and high schools. Personally, I believe that our educational system is currently flawed. Although, it does pump out obedient working snitches who support things like the drug war, and other non-sense.

While we can make that assumption, in being truthful we need to know if being home schooled would make someone more or less likely to be a free thinker and not gobble down every piece of propaganda served. Personally, I think it's human nature to take what the government says as truth. Logically, they should have the resources to best decide what is acceptable and not, but this doesn't account for the abuse of power by many.

I still remember that time (was the best time of my life) and I remember our class was very lively and rowdy. When it was Hellen keller time everybody got depressed. Sure it's fucking depressing, she's deaf & blind and goes UG UG. What the fuck happened to the quality of life rule? They should have smothered that bitch when she was an infant. i actually don't remember anything i ever did in school. not a thing. nothing i learned is remembered, nothing i did i can recall. no i wasn't high, at the time i was against any and all drugs, even caffeine. school is bullshit, i was reading at age 3, and i remember just about every book ive read in the last 4 years, and ive read around 1200+ books. i dont even read often. school didnt help me, in fact it got me in a lot of trouble, mainly due to disruption, skipping class to get laid, and sleeping. school is BULLSHIT!

The thing I remember about Hellen Keller is that anecdote about how her teacher used to play a practical joke on her by leaving the plunger in the toilet. That wasn't a very nice thing to do.
