Crazy? Hardly. I've been thinking a bit about this.
I like my share of kinky games- okay, a little light bondage. I like a man who can dominate me and yes this translates to "who could potentially hurt me"... but DOESN'T. I'm not going to get into the specifics of why this is here; it's a bit personal. But to me one of the functions of sex in a relationship is a reconfirmation of the trust that the partners have between each other.
I know this sounds wholly clinical and unsexy but having been in realtionships with men who didn't know how to dominate without breaking that trust and inflicting pain, both emotional and physical, I find it very important to know that my partner does know and respect those boundaries, and understands instinctively when I start to feel uncomfortable.
