Interesting concept; on one hand it makes sense to build an age limit on going to prison in the first place into the punishment guidelines for each type of crime. Not just because it makes no sense to lock up an 80 year old dude who was caught 20 years later for say, larceny by check. You know what I mean? He's simply going to cost the prison system a TON of money anyway. Dentures ain't cheap! lol
On the other hand, it gives added incentive to escape- "I just need to stay free for 4 more years without getting caught, then I'm good to go!"
stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . I hate when they catch convicts after years on the run. Here is another article on a fugitive caught after 28 years on the run. Dude is 75 now. I'm always pulling for them, hoping they keep evading. 28 years takes talent  Fugitive caught 28 years later - Crime & Punishment - MSNBC.com Rating: 5
