Can inhaling THC vapor through your nose cause an insulffation effect?

I got to thinking, say if you inhaled a volcano balloon or vaporbro** through your nose, wouldn't the THC be absorbed through the membranes in your nose similar to other substances?

If I draw very slowly my nose will tickle and tingle but I'm not sure if I'm experiencing insulffation?

I don't think it will get you any higher. As far as I know, the thing about there being glands in your nose to absorb the THC is a myth.

Biology is Biology, if a soluble substance comes into contact with your nasal membranes it should pass through into your blood stream.

Ya but THC is only fat soluable, so not sure if that would work or not.

Nice theory, but tbh i doubt it. IF it DID work, i dont think it'd get you higher - maybe you might get higher quicker, but the lungs to a good enough job

i've taken quiite a number of hits up the nose and i would say the "higher" feeling you get (if you get one) is mostly just your nose not used to inhaling quantities of smoke like that....

I like to exhale my volcano hits through my nose sometimes. I don't think I get any higher, but it tingles a bit and is nice. It also clears my nose and sinuses really well. I just exhale really slow and the vapor sort of falls gently out of my nose.

Also, for smoking, I hate exhaling smoke through my nose. I find it painful and gross, so make what you will of it.:thumbsup:

Traditional Rasta's exhale deep white smoke through the nose as the thc is absorbed rather nicely via the nasal membranes.

I have tried and I think the onset of the effects are much quicker.
