Looks like the link is down. Just go search amazon for the book.
I read it a few years ago. It is funny.
However the Spanish is not quite grammatically correct. So you will likely have some people laughing at you. That's okay they will likely think you are stoned.
I am as gringo as they come but I speak and write Spanish.
Pity we cant post in Spanish here.

I just had to add only gringos call other gringos, "gringos", to all mexicans gringos are gabatchos (we pronounce it here Ga-va-chos). This was on the ask a mexican forum in my local Alibi(Alibi is the local underground weekly paper here its free and full of stuff happing in the week, Clubs, shows, stripper coupons, etc.)

I live in Gringoland, Washington. And it's not "straight-up" mexicans that use gringos, like you said, it's the white-mexican kids. I'm not like the I'm mexican because my great aunt's husband's dad is mexican, no. My mom's parents are both mexican and my dad and his family is Salvadorian. My mom was born in America though.
