WHO HAS TRIED(GROWN) WILLY NELSON...
I just wrote a long dissertation about how much Reeferman strains suck, lol, but decided to give you the short version: IF you want Reefermans 'Willie Nelson', you can buy it from Hemp Depot for about $75 ... IF you want a sativa, that will take 14+ weeks just to flower, go for it ... IF you want unstable genetics, and terrible germination, go for it ... IF you want 12-foot outdoor trees, with tiny popcorn buds, go for it ... IF you want a plant that will be a nightmare to manicure, with al those 'pine-needle' leaves, go for it ... is it powerful ?, yeah, it's pretty potent ... will I, or my professional-growing friend, ever use Reeferman's seeds again ?? ... you gotta be kiddin'
, I wouldn't buy his garbage again if it cost a nickel, I would be afraid of it contaminating my other genetics ... you probably ask: "if it's so bad, why did he win the High Times Cannabis Cup with it ?" ... same way everybody wins the Cup, by spending tons of $$$ on High Times advertising, and bribes ... TIP:. if you want a beautiful 'UP' plant, get Joey Weed's Cinderella 99, or one of her hybrid sisters, you'll be a LOT happier ...

I am currently growing willie weed for second year outdoors- I agree it does take 14 weeks in flower to harvest- i am at 12 weeks and showing a few amber trichs primarily because of a cold snap-last year at 13 weeks no amber at all- i have been fortunate though that I have grown very nice size buds ,when I harvest this season I will post some pics of buds- kept short because of topping and lsting the plants -yes it has a kick -will i grow again, not as my primary crop but yes because i have a few beans left

I just went outside, and took a pic of my 'Last Willie', this is her, on Oct. 25, and nowhere close to finishing ... she's tied over, not crippled,
... lotsa little popcorn buds, my 'expert grower' buddy has one about 12' tall, and six feet across ... same thing, popcorn buds ...

Aside from your gripe about it's genetics, the other reasons you listed are simply characteristics of a Sativa plant. Yield and height aren't what get you high. That's the trade off for growing a Sativa that will give you a very potent, cerebral high. Sounds like a plant someone would buy if they were only interested in the type of high they get from it.

you can prob get the same 'almost' the same high off a hybrid of mostley sativa that wont take as long to flower. but i see where your coming from

Yeah if the Cinderella 99 is as potent then ok. I just don't understand why the flowering time, yield, and height typical of Sativa strains makes it shitty.
