Your BEST bet is to use ALL your lights through the whole cycle.

At some point it even helps to mimmic seasonal sunlight changes by actually cycling through the kelvins at different times during the day-period with a peak of both at a certain point...

If you can get your hands on good soil, you do not need fertilizers.

Chemical and even some organic fertilizers only speed up growth and increase yield. They do NOT increase potency of the plant.

SOME organic fertz can in fact increase potency if done properly. Potency is usually a genetic trait however.

As far as a door goes, it would be more efficient if you could enclose it. Due to the low light factor the closer the walls are to your plants the better, in a way. An open wall on your box will create a large gaping area for light to "escape". Enclose the box and wrap the walls with MYLAR.
