Hemp Seed Oil excuse

I was reading up on hemp seed oil on the internet. It is perfectly legal and is known to test positive for THC on a drug screening. Has anyone ever tried this excuse?

Seems perfectly logical to me.

I doubt it. Legally they are supposed to have no THC in them and the MRO's know this and are going to fail you if you use that as an excuse but maybe your boss might buy it. Just don't fail.

A crap load of sites says differently but I must admit the sites are all related to the hemp industry in some fashion.

What would be something that would test false positive?

False positives are eliminated when the sample undergoes a confirmation GC/MS test. The GC/MS would distinguish between the illicit and non-illicit substances.

They will test your sample with the test strip first. If it comes up positive then they will test with GC/MS test and they will know exactly what the substance is.
