Nitrogen overdose is a definite possibility with leaves looking like that but the fert is so weak that I'm not sure where it would have come from.
Yes, you can control vertical growth- bend over and tie down, since you're already at your height limit.
I see burns not from ferts but from physical contact wiht the bulb.
Either way you need a bigger pot. Better to do it now before the rootbound condition decreases your potential yield.

She looks healthy but has started to brown at the tips on leaves at the top of the plant and around the larger fan leaves. One fan leaf has even begun to disinigrate. (pics are below) A few facts: -I have never flushed the pots. -The ph seems to be a bit low at around 6.0. -the lights in my closet are a bit close to the plant. -Im watering every 3 days, feeding a weak 8-7-6 solution every 9 Rating: 5
