yeah that cab is a bit fancy being solid cherry wood and all but we got the whole set for FREE and tons of other furniture pieces. im "allowed" to use it as long as i dont ruin it, so im trying to devise a way to exhaust the cab. dont know if i should make a vent in the top and put my blower on the roof or make to vents on the top back and put the blower on a shelf in the cab. also thinking of just using my new cab as a flowering box and keeping moms and clones in another cab or rubbermaid.

thank goodness i dont need any type of carbon filter for my grow, cause they stink up my whole room now with the closet closed and its only 3 1/2 weeks in.

got these via UPS today a lil after 4:20. just gotta wire um up to test them out then design something for them to mount to.



ordered me a stanley blower last night too so thats on its way as well. now to get all the little things to connect it all together and make a new cab.

well....... since getting the two 150s ive been thinking on what im gonna do with them, and how the "cherry cab" will be setup. what im thinking is a perpetual grow :thumbsup:.

flowering area will be 36"w x 36'h x 20.5"d and house the (2) 150hps. now here is another thinker on how to do my HPS setup.
should i DIY cooltube them in one bake-a-round or mounted side by side spaced equally, and im thinking batwing reflector either way.

veg/bonsai mums area will be 36"w x 18"h x 20.5"d and house the (8) 26w cfls and maybe (4) 18" 15w flouros. may need some help/advice on wiring the flouros up. is this gonna be an ok height to have mothers in or should it be taller? mother/s will be lst and topped of course.

gonna use a stanley blower for ventilation and plop it on the top of the cab. think i have to use a carbon scrubber this time since ill have a lil more than 2 girls flowering at a time. everything will be DIY to save money.

so does that sound like an ok design so far? comments and critique please.


UPDATE on girls. yum i cant wait to harvest. been feeding 1/2 gallon every 2 days (1tbsp molasses 1tbsp tiger bloom per gallon). i put one of the 150s on them as some sidelighting so the lower branches can bulk up. getting fatter everyday so i cant wait till 6 weeks and later.

Yo Irie, ur proly gonna have to get the bake a round, or cooltube for the HID's..especially since gon b in dat closet. I Sampled my 400 watt HPS w/batwing yesterday in a 2ft w, 1.5ft deep, 3.5ft tall, and the light was 2 ft over the plant..temps got as high as 105, but managed to maintain it at 95 w/fan, and..ill reply inna bit room mate gota jump on the comp..

Ok, I checked the temps now that the big midget plant is on the Lanai in the open but w/out fan, and light 3ft over the plant. Temps got up to 89 out there.
I checked out the Reflector hood at Kahala Hydro, and was makin a big difference. Gonna have to choose btween that..regular or DIY cooltube{Which obviously would b cheapest, and interesting to see. Oh, I posted more pics earlier tonite:thumbsup:
