I wonder if that weird growth is caused by a root touching some fertilizer in the soil.

u coulld get it online at a number of gardening/growing stores... i get mine at a local gardening center. Ill warn u right now that it is expensive, I pay 30$ a bag at my store. I also mix it at a 3:2 ratio with perlite b/c it is so expensive to make it last.

If u r going to look online for some just google it and u should be able to find some online places that offer it.

Also if u do get decide to use it remember that it is at least partially fortified, so u wont have to add any nutes for a while until ur plants use up all the nutes in the soil itself.

you should check out "black gold" its cheap, organic, and better than FF.......

for 20 bucks you get a bag that looks less flashy than FF, works better........see the trend.

Where do u get it at??? i have heard of it but havent seemed to locate it anywhere??

i got mine at the "nearest" hydro store, but dude told me that they used to sell it everywhere on the east coast like 15 years ago, then there was an issue with the EPA due to its organic compound. so for a while you could only get it in cali...
ask around your local hydro shops, if they are knowledgeable, they will have it or know where to get it.

stinkyattic recommends a mix from agway, and we have an agway down the way from me so i had a buddy use the soil she recommended. it seems to be workin rather well also.....

Right on, yea my hydro store here has more nutes I have never heard of, but for some odd reason the only potting soil they sell is the ocean forrest. Im not exactly against the ocean forest execpt fo rthe price, but i am for sure not for it. I would love to find some black gold or agway somewhere.

Ok, im not experienced at all w/ foliar, but i fgured id try it, this morn at 6AM when the lights came on mixed 1/2 tsp growbig to a gallon of tap. Obviously i only needed about 1/32 of that gallon, so the rest got the pitch, cause i dont like storing solutions (sounds like alot to risk).

Anyways i just got doen with classes for the day and back to my place. I cant really tell any obvious improvement from the plants, but i sure dont see them stressing it at all:thumbsup:

If neone experienced w/ foliar has any advice for me i would appreciate.

PS - Ill have soem new pics tomoro when my plants get thier normal feedings. So until tomoro.......

Not built up ones, regular ones. You said your dirt is at least partially fortified so I assume that means there are actual little pieces of fertilizer in there. If not, sorry and forget it.

If u guys look back a few posts ull see a pic, of a plant with some prettty strange looking grwoth on em, almost round leaves. Anyways when i was foliar'n it up today I noticed that that plant seems to have burned out its main gro tip and reverted it auxins to some newly developing side branch grow tips. These new grow tips already have pretty big leaves. Ill try to get a good pic tomoro when i get my "Ansel Adams" on.

Also has neone else had anything like this happen?? Its almost as if the plant said "fuk the main grow tip lets focus on the sides." lol oh well, the new growth looks healthy so im not relly worried.:jointsmile::hippy:

I could be wrong, but from what i have heard Ocean Forrest is somewhat fortified, so i see what ur saying now. If I am incorrect about that fact tho, than im not too sure what goin on.

Look down at my post title "Observation" its got a lil tidbit about that plant and what it doin now:thumbsup:
