What's the purpose of the cardboard? To filter the smoke or hold the weed in? Rolling with just about any paper shouldn't be a problem. Even the weed out leaving about 1/8" paper at the ends. Tighten it, but not too much, by rolling the weed between the paper halves a couple times, then tuck it for the final roll. Roll it almost to the top. Lick the glue strip. Don't lick half the paper; but get the glue with a decent amount of spit. Then you can stick it, paying special attention to the ends. I dunno 'bout putting cardboard in the ends. The spliff was pretty cool but hard to roll for beginners.

I've been a weed smoker off and on for the past 7 years, and in the past few months I've began smoking multiple times a day almost every day. I can roll a killer blunt, I have a good bowl that I bought at a headshop, I've got a home-made vaporizer, and a pack of rolling papers. I can get stoned by the first 3 of those methods, but I can't roll a joint for shit it seems. I'll make myself a little clearer. I can roll what looks like a typical joint, but it smokes like Rating: 5

Get some good papers and tap the weed down before you finish the tip. I rolled up a fat jay my second try and it smoked like a charm.
