"Attention Whores" ...... women, men, or what?

LOL! Perhaps I should clarify. I in no way meant to imply that I am in the habit of swinging cats about. What I meant to say is that I have been known to be something of an attention whore myself from time to time. I'm not proud of it, but it is what it is. I try to recognize it, analyze my motives, and work on the real issue that's causing it. Other times I don't give a damn.

Well as long as the cats don't mind, who cares! J/K, I just don't understand it and as many people do who are curious, I am trying to learn from others' experiences.

OK folks, there's this guy on the radio out here - Tom Lykis - who likes to go on and on about how women crave men's attention and will do just about anything to be the center of a conversation, the center of attention, or whatever else you wanna call it. He calls it being "Attention Whores"... Since this radio show is nationally syndicated and broadcasts in many markets nationwide and some/many people may have heard it, I'm wondering what your opinions are on the subject.
