    Buckethead=Incredible

    If you haven't heard of Buckethead before than heres a good first impression. Buckethead is an underrated guitarist who's not only incredible at the guitar but also writes good music. Most people know him as the guy with the KFC bucket on his head but his music is much deeper than that. The songs called Nottingham Lace. This is my favorite video of all time. Truly a masterpiece.

    Here you go. ENJOY

    YouTube - Buckethead - Nottingham Lace

    P.S. If anyone can put the video directly on the thread so you dont have to go to youtube we would appreciate it.

    So nobody asks, The button he presses in the end solos is called a killswitch which basically gives off the sound you hear.

    I caught him a couple times last year, once at Wakarusa and once in St. Louis, and both times blew me away, as to be expected. His fingers are so damn long and he moves them so fast it just amazes me. I mean if Les Claypool respects him and likes him, you know he's the real deal.

    On a totally unrelated note, you all should check out his work with Praxis. I'm telling you it's outstanding.

    "Folks just call him BUCKETHEAD!" ~

    Yeah Buckethead had a set in which Bernie Worrell came out and played a couple songs with him, then Claypools set was after his.

    Buckethead of course came out for a song though. :jointsmile:

    Oh yeah it's definitely one of my concert highlights. I try to catch both guys as much as possible whenever their tour is remotely close to me.

    I've seen Buckethead two times and Claypool I believe four times, five if you count Primus last year (btw one of the SICKEST shows ever). The thing about Claypool and his Fancy Band he plays with is he usually doesn't switch up the set lists very much. I personally couldn't care either way because he still puts on one hell of a show. ~

    I'd only ever heard Buckethead's stuff when he was working with Axl Rose. That video was sick though, he's got skills for sure :thumbsup:
