    yellowing

    my friends plants are yellowing. it is the big fan leaves and its spreading from the bottom up. he grows in a nft tank. i dont see any burnt patches on any leaves so i dont think its over feeding, im no expert but i think it sounds like a nitrogen defieciency. he has done the same as in other grows with the strenth of feed so it is a bit baffleing. any ideas...

    how close r the lights and what r u feeding them?

    the light is a 600w sodium with a air cooled hood and is about 18 inches away. its not the heat as it is kept at 75 or below. i feed them sensi 3 part nutes. if you over feed will they allways look burnt cos these dont so thats why i think its a defiency of some kind.

    the fan leaves normally yellow during flowering, because the plant will draw nutrients from them ... it is the normal life-cycle of the plant ... :smokin:

    i know. but wat im worryed about is if they have root block or something as i have done a lot of other grows and never seen them like this b4. but they are not burnt so i dont think it will be.
