    b.c. question

how important is it that you take it at the same time everyday? im on ortho tri-cyclin low. and i missed a day, and i always take it at diff times (always around 6-8pm nothing too far apart) im such a flake about it but i work so much and im so busy and occupied with other things wen im done that its not something i am thinking about. im scared that im gonna get preggers because i missed a day. is this likely? something i should be worrid about?

also i mthinking i should go on the patch or get the ring instead so i dont ahve to rmeebr. would this be a good idea? i dont no much about birthcontroll.

    thanks

    b.c. question

    Hi.

Although i am not on the same pill as you...
My advice would be dont be to worried but keep an eye on the situation. If you miss a pill, and it is just one pill and you continue taking 1 a day afterwards, it is pretty damn unlikely you'll get pregnant. However there is ofcourse a small chance, everyones different but i miss pills regulary (by accident) i'd say in total about 5 a month and i have been in sexually active relationships since i was 15 - i am now almost 21 and have never fell pregnant due to it.
Just to be on the safe side, use a condom for the next week if you are very worried, and obviously be sure to make sure your period is regular this month.

    Hope this has helped,

    Becki x

Well then don't whip yourself, duh.

Seriously sounds like spotting, to avoid it, don't miss pills. And use backup protection for the next week or so. Your body just told you that the level of BC hormone in your system dropped.

Don't take more or fewer doses than you were perscribed. If it's bleeding and not just a couple little spots, call your doc.

    b.c. question

I was on the patch and am now on the ring because I'm worried about missing a pill. If you think missing pills is something you cant avoid, I'd suggest you switch to something you dont have to remember everyday
