    Got my seedling in rockwool

Taproots out, got her in rockwool + claypebbles in my plant pot over reseviour. Got my seed about half an inch down into the rockwool. My question is, should I have the top of the seed exposed to the lighting yet? atm I have the top of it covered with pebbles for saftey, but do I want her exposed yet?

If it hasn't actually sprouted yet, I would keep it covered.. Once the cotyledons pop out then uncover it from pebbles... But you should some light so it knows which way is up... Make sure they aren't directly under a high powered light while they are still sprouts.

Illusion covered everything I wanted to say except that I would recommend you place your seed no more than 1/4" into the rockwool (I actually do it about 1/8". This will help germination and give the roots more area to grow into. If you are using the starter blocks with the holes already made, I wet the entire block, rip off a piece from the outside and wedge it into the hole to create a more shallow hole. Place your seed in with the taproot down and rip off a little more rockwool to cover the seed in the hole.
