PlywChood cab or blackout sheeting?

I was wondering. Should i go to all the hassle of building a cab from plywood or should i just build a 3x2 frame setup and staple white sheeting to it?

If the latter then what are the disadvantages of doing it this way. It will be in the attic.

Build one and paint it white, better yet I am sure you can find an Old Cabinet somewhere that is already White.

I'll be doing Arjian's Haze #3 scrog style with a 400 watt hps. Any ideas as to the size of the cabinet?

I can get 5 feet in height. Also should i disregard thermal imaging since i will be using a cool tube and venting back into the house.

Well I think its like 2500 lumen's Per Sq. Ft. So do the math lol. I hate numbers Sorry.

As for the Lights are you just going to solely use the 400whps for the whole grow? You can use it as your base light and buy some daylight CFL's for Vegging and Soft White's when flowering plus you have your 400whps and that should be sufficient? Just Check around, do some searching, perusing, through the lighting section and you should be Gold! hope this helped.

So instead of buying a cabinet or building one from plywood i have decided to just build a frame from 3X2 timber and cover it with extra thick white reflective sheeting.

Question is this ---> This is an attic grow. I will be using a 400 watt hps that is cool tubed. The hot air will be extracted back into the house. Im scrogging all the way baby. Will i have problems with the thermals. i.e. The po LICE. Surely a 400 watter in the attic that is cooltubed is not gunna even be considered as illegal activity under the eyes of the law?

Anyone?
