    My outdoor winter grow log.

Well to start off I live in Florida and I am a newb at growing, but have done some reeding up. So far I have succesfully germinated some bag seed and started 4 in some potting soil. I currently have them outside in a partially wooded area and 3 out of 4 have sprouted. Plant A has all 4 leaves, Plant B has all 4 but are not all developed, Plant C sprouted but is developing leaves, Plant D is yet to show signs of life. We have been getting good rain and it took them 2 days to sprout and the weather is still like summer here. I am not sure on when to use fertilizers or if i should at all, but thats what I have so far.

Well i checked my plants today and two of the sprouts were found and destroyed but the better of the four were fine. Kinda sucks going and seeing the plants gone like that but atleast they wernt to far along. The two that are left are about 3inches tall with all four little leaves at the top, but were not stable due to the rain that weve been getting. I think because i didnt put drain holes in the bottoms of the cups the water sat there and overwatered the plant, but they seem to be doing fine now.

Your biggest concern will be too little light and the spectrum of winter sunlight.

i completly agree with psychcat. he knows his shit man. for gods sake keep them growing tho... since you have them now just keep up on watering and watever you do don't overdo them with nutes since there is no great summer sun to blow those little mothers up...i would think that you will get some nice plants... a little less yield maybe quality than you would if this month was may instead of OCTOBER.. good luck man...

you do understand that cannabis is a photosensitive flowering plant- plants are triggered into flower by shortening of days- if your plants survive the winter it will be next fall before they flower- want to grow this time of year - has to be inside where you control light cycles not mother nature- you can't fool mother nature

    Update!
My two babies have grown their second set of leaves. I would say they are roughly 3 to 4 inches tall, but the stems seem very flimsy (possibly from the rain we have been getting). All in all things seem well. Just curious, how heavily wooded area can a plant be in and still receive enough sunlight? Im asking because I have scoped out a spot but there is some trees overhead and was thinking about moving my plants there once they get stronger...And dont worry im working on some pics to get up i just got to get a camera first.
