Hydrohut Deluxe..Carbon scrubbing...????

I will be adding a hydrohut deluxe (52in. x 104 in. x 7 feet tall) to my grow area as a flowering tent ..and turning my original hydrohut into the veg tent...i plan on running (2) 600 watt digi air cooled lights and a 12 pot ebb and grow system.....and want to know what is the safest way to completely eliminate the smell...even if i have 12 of the dankest ak47 in there in full bloom...lol ...i was thinking (2) internal 8-inch carbon scrubbers with 8 inch vortex blowers and a 6 inch vortex blower and carbon scrubber for expelling the old air after its been scrubbed twice in the tent...the lights will be cooled with air from outside the tent and will be expelled outside the house...the temp is usually 72 degrees in the room where the tent is..i also have an ozium time mist dispenser which sprays every 15 minutes...i have never grown ak47 but hear its very very smelly ...????:rastasmoke:

I'm getting one of these fan/scrubbers. My is going to be very small, but you could maybe get a couple of the bigger ones. They seem like decent deals considering the time and materials needed. Good luck though!

I made one similar to those for about 45 bucks using a 8" in line fan reduced to 6" x 36" tall gutter screen, active carbon filter you cut to size, runs real quite and is in a seperate room, my room is packed so I will see how efficient it is.

I think the idea is great. The only observation that I made is with ur lighting.

I want to say first off that I LOVE Hydrohuts!!!! I currently have 4 of them. 2 deluxes, a standard and a mini.

The deluxes are used for flowering only and originally I used 3 X 400w HPMH Full Specs. 2 lights IMO is just not enough unless they are 1000w. Since then I have upgraded both of my huts to 4X 600w HPS (hortilux Super HPS bulbs).

I highly reccomend at least 3 600w lights. Keep in mind that you will not have room for your scrubbers and filters with 4 reflectors. Perhaps not even with 3. All of the stuff will have to be mounted externally.

Well thanks ...but im afraid of going over board on the electricity use and currently the 600 watt digi hps hotilux super bulb im using is quite adequate for my personal grows in the 4 x 4 hut that i have now. Plus at the very least with the new hut i will be adding another 600 watt light just like the first and at least 3 blowers...i have already seen a noticeable increase in my electric bill...staying stealth is MOST important to me ...this is all personal use......im just looking forward to getting these girls down on the ground so that if i do want to cut back on the numbers and grow some trees i can still do that......im not growing trees. yet ..all shortys...lol...sublbc how many buckets are you doing in each hut and how big are you growing ...if you dont mind me asking...?? and another general question ...if you are growing 2 strains in the ebb and grow bucket system and you have one strain thats gonna finnish like 2 weeks sooner than the other how would you go about flushing a few plants as apposed to all of them???????

But back to my real question do you think that my setup will be enough odor control...the (2) 8 inch vortex blowers with the (2) 8 inch odor sok carbon scrubbers just cleaning the air inside the tent and a 6 inch vortex blower with a 6 inch odor sock to evacuate the room ...??....??? so the air in effect will be triple scrubbed.
My lights will be inline so adding a 3rd 600 watt lamp down the line will still be very do able and a quick addition if i find that the 2 600 watt digis just aren't giving me what i need from that 12 bucket ebb and grow system.

ok you were right sublbc the (3) 600 wat digi hps with the hortilux bulbs and the super sun 2 reflectors are beyond awesome...cant wait to get mt new seeds and see how they work from start to finnish of flower. Got an 4 foot 8 bulb t5 reflector for veg.
