you must not know a thing about music than. all of the Mars Volta's albums are indeed impressive,, they're probably some of the best musicians performing today. The sad thing is that after John Theodore left i havent really seen them moving forward at all. He was the core of that band and when i saw them with their other drummer (cant think of his name right now) I was greatly dissapointed,, as their earlier shows were fucking amazing.
The Colonel Reviewed by The Colonel on . The Mars Volta I sure hope that anyone on here that is into music has at least checked out this band. They are some of the most talented musicians in a long time, and many including myself compare the guitarist to hendrix. if you are into some good rock check them out. very trippy. thier first cd deals with a druggie shooting up and going into a coma where has horrific visions for the next 7 songs, till he wakes up and is so scarred from his dreams that he commits suicide. yah. trippy stuff.
