My plant had dried up HELP!!!
OK, I left on the 9th out of state leaving the plant (which was in bloom and ready to bud, I was gone 10 days) in the hands of my other half, who tells me a day before that they don't have a green thumb. So when I get back it looks like a Charlie Brown tree and now I have had to cut some of the branches off and it's so dang dry to the touch I don't know if this is going to be able to be saved. Is there anything I can do? We have it on 12/12 right now and they wanted to put it on 24 right when I got back well I wasn't too sure about that but when I changed the light it only added about 4 more hours, which in the am when I checked was looking like death. It's in a hydroponics tank and well it also only grew 15 inches before white hairs grew... I do however have seeds from another plant started and I'm thinking that this mother plant might be a no go. The clones that we have done never took either. Yes this is the 1st growing for both of us and well since I take care of it the most I need HELP!!!
Can someone please let me know if anyone had this problem as well.

you should definitely try to revive the plant if possible... I don't know if my memory serves me correctly, but switching from 12/12 to 18/6 or 24/0 will put the plant into shock.. causing hermaphrodism (But I could be making that all up)
I've had some plants in very shitty condition, and they literally had ZERO perk to the leaves, they were flush with the stem... probably without water for about the same time... In a week or so with proper care I'm sure it can perk up. It's called weed for a reason...
But if time is not an issue, and you want the *best* results, then it would be most ideal to sprout a new bean, and start over... Then you know it won't be stressed... as long as your other half doesnt touch it!http://boards.cannabis.com/hydroponi...kets-grow.html

My plant had dried up HELP!!!
Thanks, I mean I grew a tomato plant and grew the other seeds on my own and with the others half I am hoping I can get this back, so clipping the old leaves/branches off is ok? It is however still taking water so that is a good thing I know. we also had reflective tinsel on the bottom which made mold around the bottom of the plant so I took that out. The bottom of the tree is turning brown and the rest is green, however it's a blueberry and it's always had the brown/blue color through it the whole time so I don't know and the base has always had a darker color. I hope I can bring this back, not all of it is like dust. The top is soft. UGH I know to start over but we have been working in this since May with no results but leaves we (well me ) have clipped off.
Thanks for the info

Something you may want to consider, if you have viable side branches, is to cut those branches and attempt to root them. I have done this with many condemned plants where the plant eventually dies but the clones allow it to live... in spirit anyways.
