I believed that dogs and cats were the same species. Cats were girls, and dogs were the boys. I have no idea where that idea came from.

My friends and I used to debate over what made superman fly. I insisted it was just powers, but they insisted it was his cape that made him fly. Then one of them put on a cape a few days later and rollerbladed off his garage roof, thinking he'd soar into the sky I suppose. Broke his ankle good.

When my cousin was about 3 or 4 years old, I was about 8. He lived in the same town as me, so he was always over at my house. We had a huge attic fan that blew air into the second story.... made a lot of noise..... one day me and my friend started to take my cousin upstairs to the attic, while he was walking up the stairs I turned the fan on. He asked what the noise was, we told him it was the "fan man" and if he came too close to it he would eat him and spit him out downstairs. My cousin ran out of the house and down the street... and he actually still believed that story for a while....
