It's not a distortion to say that I haven't firsthand experienced seized seeds from canada. I'm not basing it on meager assumptions or anonymous reports online. It's based on friends I have who experienced it, which was enough for me to avoid it. Perhaps they are in a precarious place in the u.s. Either way, my main point is that european seedbanks have always delivered to me safely and that is what should be taken from my text. You've had good experiences with canadian seedbanks, I've seen bad experiences with them. That's what this forum is for, gathering info from all contributors.
