I'm assuming that you are growing outside? S.W. Florida (or most of FL for that matter) is well-suited to grow just about every strain... god bless tropical weather eh?
Although it definitely does vary along with the strain, yield will mostly depend on the growing conditions (nutrients, water, light, etc.) and the care given your plants. Outside, I would recommend using SCRoG to train your plants into lower, fatter, canopies. This will allow more light to hit each budding site (and light is one of the most important things your plants need).
You should look in the Outdoor Growing forum to pick up some more tips; I don't grow outside (or at all, really) so I cannot tell you as much as they.
