    sleep/Favorite HEALTHY munchies

    Ok so this is my first thread on the site and just by browsing thru some threads i can tell that ill enjoy this place.

    so the point of this thread is basically to address two things

    munchies
    sleep paterns

    I find that i really overdue it when it comes to munchies like sometimes ill eat a whole medium pizza(8 slices lol) to myself. I usually smoke from 11 pm - 7 am everyday. Im an avid online gamer so that takes up alot of my time. Like its gotten to the point where i say to myself " Why eat sober when your going to be hungry when you smoke ". Ive gained about 25 lbs in the past 2 years of blazing and i am active..i play hockey 3 times a week at a pretty solid pace. So i wanted to know what you guys eat that isnt so fatning and still is fullfilling. Also i assume people here chain smoke joints, i know i do, ill smoke anywhere from 3-4 a day(i know thats not nearly as hardcore as some people :P) but it does the job for me. So my next question is, do you guys get hungry after every joint or do you guys get it done in one shot.

    So now onto sleeping paterns, does anyone find that the more weed they smoke the harder time they have dealing with day to day things because your just too damn tired or lazy do get anything done? I seem to have found myself in a slump. I dont go to school till january, work isnt an option right now(parents want me to have a clear head to go back to school) so i just dont know what to do with my time and its taking a tole on me. Anyone have any advice?

    One last little thing, I want to hear some stories from you guys. I grew up thinking drugs were bad and that id NEVER do em, so growing up with that mentality i almost feel like im wasting my life away which i am at this point, but am i really?( is what im trying to say lol) Does anyone have coping abilities with guilt trips set on oneself that your willing to share? Not to say that pot users are bums but i almost feel like a bum - like what purpose am i serving right now doing what it is im doing. If anyone can share any kind of info with me that be cool

    I feel you, man. I don't smoke as often as I used to. These days it's usually a weekend thing, but in the past I would smoke 1-5 times daily. It was great, don't get me wrong, but it really takes a toll on your body in many aspects. I gained a lot of weight, like you. I understand and feel your pain . I'd be more than happy to recommend healthy alternatives. Unfortunately, by suggesting you eat healthier munchies, I'd be acting quite hypocritical. I almost never eat good food when I'm blazed. I mean...I eat good food (hot pockets, soup, pizza, doritos, various flavored potato chips, cakes, pies, ice cream, brownies, spaghetti, and the list goes on and on) but not food good for you. It just doesn't appeal to me as much when I'm high, but I'll occasionally snack on an apple, banana, or orange. Fruit is always delicious. Trust me.

    Mm. I went through a phase similar to this. This summer actually. I did next to nothing but smoke weed, chill with friends, and argue with my ex. It was great at times, but sometimes I felt so almost meaningless. As soon as college kicked in, I'm back to my normal self, and I'm pretty happy for the most part.

    The thing is, smoking often (daily) will make you lazier than normal. Sometimes you just got to take a day off and go out and do something. Get some exercise. Pick up a new hobby. Get a pet. Try something new. Get out and do stuff. You'll feel better.

    It's all in your head, man. Trust me. I went through the same shit. Most of us do. You just have to keep telling yourself that everything is fine, and you're not a worthless piece of shit. Because you're not. You like weed, just like the rest of us, and you're in a phase where all you want to do is smoke. Who cares? Do what you want and enjoy your life. As I said above, get out and do something new. Experience life the way you want to experience. You only live once, so don't hold back. That's all I can really suggest.

    Happy smoking to you as well. I'm off to pick up a sack--something I haven't done in a month. I'll be high as a kite in no time. Then I'm off to work XD

    hehe thx dude, u prolly wont trust but hearing it from a stranger is all the more consoling. Yea i was in college too when the phase hit me. Right after a shooting at my school actually, i just decided not to go back there, I start again in january and untill then it looks like im blazing and such, i guess i just have to keep reminding myself that it will all be ok soon, your right im not a bad person i just enjoy weed. thats my new modo thanks hehe

    Well.. usually when you get the munchies you think about eating the best tasting thing. That of course doesn't always include healthy foods. I try not to eat after I smoke but it's really hard to not eat when you have a fridge and all that food in your pantry.

    After I come down from my high I'm usually really tired, and it sucks when all you're favorite TV shows are on and you're too damn tired to watch :jointsmile: I'm not as lazy when I don't smoke, but everyone ends up getting lazy/tired after smoking. It's inevitable.

    I've always been taught drugs were bad too. It's kind of weird seeing how I'm the one doing the "bad" thing now. You just can't be hard on yourself about it, it's not like you're a bad person for smoking. Don't sweat it man.

    I don't know if it's a munchy, but, fresh squeezed tangerine juice with some ice cubes tastes pretty fucking amazing, it's so refreshing, ahhhhh, I feel refreshed just thinking about it. I also like red raspberries and vanilla yogurt is pretty amazing to, sometimes I get crazy and mix the berries with the yogurt.

    Well I really do not have to worry about eating and gaining weight because I am a motivated smoker.

    If you smoke and then go out and do things you do not have to worry about gaining weight.

    I usually try to eat before I get stoned. Then I smoke up and go out and hike or practice martial arts. I am completely involved in something for several hours, then I come back and eat and then smoke.

    If I start to get lazy I use getting high as a reward for getting something done. Usually it is something that I have been procrastinating on doing. I then feel that I have accomplished something. Then I get high.
