question for the ladies
depends on what your/her definition of cute is... and what context you use it in.

question for the ladies
I've resigned myself to never being considered 'beautiful' and am perfectly content to settle for cute. It suits me better anyway- partially a comment on personality, rather than strictly looks.

question for the ladies
Maybe I'm strange, but being termed "cute" hasn't ever been insulting to me. I've been called the term my entire life, and it doesn't diminish me. I'm resigned to the fact that I'm probably more cute than classically beautiful. Heck, if people are aware and kind enough to use any sort of flattering adjective to describe me, I feel like I'm ahead of the game. I agree with Stinky, too, that they may use that term, too, because it also applies to my personality as well as my face and style.

question for the ladies
i hate that. i get called cute all the time and it pisses me off. to me, cute is like saying "you're sort of not ugly" or "i'd do you in a pinch". i'd rather be called fine, or gorgeous or a dime.
