Grow tent assistance

I'm starting my foray into growing, and i was wondering if that is a good grow tent for 1-3 plants, or am i better off going with a rubbermaid setup?

I was thinking of going with joey's NLxC99 for all the rave reviews i've read. If i'm going with 4 CFLs will a simple oscillating fan be sufficent for ventilation?

If i were to pass the CFLs for something more expensive, will this work? This one is only the 6400k, so would i have to get a 2700k for flowering? Or would the 6400k be decent for flowering. These fucking lamps are expensive. Would i have to bump up the cooling system?

Call me paranoid, but i've read on this forum, that the government has satillites, with infrared scanners, looking for weed signatures! How would they be able to tell if that plant is weed or any other plant say a fern?

People say to put tin foil on the top, so that it refracts the satillite scanners, so would that help?

Also, i'm a pretty big noob and i've never grown anything in my entire life except those school lima bean labs. So when you water, do you water the plant or the soil, btw do you use a spray can or just pour the water in with a cup.

PS: Would this be a good starter lighting kit?

Other questions i forgot to write in original thread, i can't edit anymore.

When they say 20/6 that means 20 hours of light for 6 days w/ 4 hours of darkness, then 1 day of complete darkness right?

Then what does 12/12 mean? 12 hours of light and darkness for 12 days?

Hydrohut- I read on that sellers description he was busting on the homebox, which is BS; it's a fabulous product. I'd make the jump to the 4x4x8, you can order it from your local hydro shop, but the 3x3x6.5 is okay for a 400w HPS or flouros if you really want to mess around with them (go for the HPS!!!)

The hut is socked for a proper exhaust and you DO need it no matter what your lights.

Tinfoil is a myth and no choppers are gonna see a few CFLs as something to be concerned wiht, plus that's illegal search. Just for comparison, I run 4 HID lights and a T5 in my ATTIC and don't lose sleep over it. lol

20/6 is only viable on a planet with 26 hour days. Veg under 24 hours of light and 0 hours of darkness or 18 and 6, and flower under 12 light 12 dark.
