What would you guys recommend for PH adjustment. Should PH up or down be added to the water before feeding. I am using a soil based grow. Does HTG have good PH adjustors or should this be done with nutes.

Not sure that is why I am asking.

    What would you all recommend?

Get a good digital ph pen which can be had for around 50 bucks. Get some 4 and 7 calibration solution. Then some some ph up and down. Let water sit out for 24 hours before you add it to plants unless you have spring water and such. Dip pen in water and or water/nutes and adjust to 6.3.

    6.7-6.9 is optimal

if your soil ph is correct and water is not i would suggest getting liquid ph up and down and put in your water before you feed. go with a general hydroponics uses ph up This Base solution is formulated using Potassium Hydroxide and Potassium Carbonate
ph down Phosphoric acid. those products are a better choice for the plants

or just use good soil with an ability to buffer the ph , or add lime . adding chemicals to your soil will add chemicals to your plants , get a good organic soil with good buffering ability and theres no need to fuck about withh ph ,, i aint tested my ph since 1st grow , im on 3rd now , no problems regarding ph . organic weed tastes 10 x better n sweeter that chemical salt grown weed and also you wont be smoking shit thats gonna kill ya lol

cant beat allmix , you can throw ya ph meters away with that shit

I too thought 6.7 was "optimal" but that is not case anymore with my grows and all the research I have done (soil). If you are not carefull then before you know it your soil is over 7.0 which sucks when it comes to up-take of nutes for pot. Adjust to 6.3-6.5 and you have a much better buffer zone. Once I started doing this over 5 yearts ago my plants have been much better off. BUT, to each his own.
    Good luck
