Nimbin Mardi Grass

Has any1 heard of the Nimbin Mardi Grass? Its some big weed festival in Australia (my country) where stoners get together to protest the legalisation of weed. Apparently the town gets flooded by ppl smoking and traffiking buds and the police turn a blind eye to it all! I was hoping to attend it this year cos its only 3 hours drive from where I live !!!!!!!!!

yeah! the date is April 30- May 1st. every year for 13 years ( Ithink) and it doesnt look like stopping

I think i read about that in High Times its illegal in that town but since it gets flooded by so many people on that weekend the cops don't enforce that law during that event.
