Providing your lighting is of the correct spectrum eg 6400Kelvin for vegging or 2700Kelvin for vegging and bloom in many instances, you should yeild something...

I'd use an Envirolite (Envirolites indoor hydroponic envirolite grow lights, grow cabinets and reflectors.) as they are relatively cheap and do not cost much to run and are designed for horticulture. A lamp that isn't delivering the right spectrum may as well be off...

Fluorescents I was at b&q looking at cfls bulbs, the ones they had were the 18 watt swirly bulbs but the one that took my eye was a lamp they had, the bulb is 20 watt. The lamp cost 20 quid and already has a reflector on it, since im planning on growing lowryder 2 i thot this would be good to maybe have one of these per plant Heres a pic of the lamp. Any thoughts?
