I was at b&q looking at cfls bulbs, the ones they had were the 18 watt swirly bulbs but the one that took my eye was a lamp they had, the bulb is 20 watt. The lamp cost 20 quid and already has a reflector on it, since im planning on growing lowryder 2 i thot this would be good to maybe have one of these per plant Heres a pic of the lamp. Any thoughts?

How about this lamp with a 100 watt bulb? The lamp itself is good coz of the reflector and that the height is easily adjusted. im only using it for lowryders.

100watts would be better.I don't think one 20 would do it.

Well, 1stly how dare you take photos in B&Q...isn't there a law against that

Providing your lighting is of the correct spectrum eg 6400Kelvin for vegging or 2700Kelvin for vegging and bloom in many instances, you should yeild something...

I'd use an Envirolite (Envirolites indoor hydroponic envirolite grow lights, grow cabinets and reflectors.) as they are relatively cheap and do not cost much to run and are designed for horticulture. A lamp that isn't delivering the right spectrum may as well be off...

cheers guys, i just saw that one and the lamp itself is crackin but am gonna go back and look at better bulbs, guessin the 100 watt one would be good and al check the kelvin rate b4 i buy, since lowryder autoflowers should i just go for the 2700?

I would use the 2700k veg/bloom... High Pressure Sodium produces this spectrum and is ideal for blooming plants as well as vegging.

I'm trying to stick to cfls for this coz am only gonna have 1-2 plants at once, any ideas? i get paid on thursday so thats when im goin to get my equipment
