Ok I'm high and listening to Kanye's new lp and I like the sample from older songs and original R&B. I googled a few of the lyrics that he has on "I Wonder" and all I got were his lyrics and none others and it came to me like a mid summer sunrise. He's sampling shit and systematically phasing the original copies of his songs so people wont A sample it further or B give him credit. I think a lot of musicians who are doing covers and taking samples need to make it clear where they came from.Does anyone agree or disagree and why so?
