Treason means you try to depose your government, betray your nation by directly offering assistance to the enemy, or otherwise intentionally act in a manner for the purpose destroying your nation's sovereignty. Bush did not commit treason by bringing America into Iraq.

Bush sent the troops to kill Iraqi's, he did not order their death's, insurgent's and Iraqi nationalists did.

I understand your anger eg420ne, I'm as against this foolish war as you are, but I'm also an advocate of not flinging accusations just because you hate the subject. Bush did a terrible and stupid thing, he did not commit treason. Treason doesn't mean when something is considered bad enough, it's treasonous.

IDK dude but our prez used its military to invade a country that done nothing to us and is about to do it to Iran, treason is not a word that is only used by the USA.....

eg420ne, I know treason is a term used by every country, but what I'm saying here is that treason by definition is the subversion of your own nation, not someone else's.

But if we want to really get Bush on something, I think war crimes could arguably be charged against him.

Bush could meet the criteria for treason. He lied to congress and the public to get our troops killed in Iraq. He knew iraq qasn't behing 911 and did it anyway. If we attacked anyone it should have been Saudi Arabia except I'm pretty sure thats where a bunch of Bush's buddies live.
