I actuallly just did the same thing you did Opie with the S and the M on the switchable ballast. Except I put the HPS bulb in there when it was on the M, it still lit up and all but luckily I noticed it about 15 mins in. Hopefully I didnt mess something up!
time to stay away from the reefer while messing with things lol...
