Is Something Wrong?

I've been smoking from the same strain for the last couple of weeks, I'm a newb to this, but I notice that when I get high, I feel relaxed, Sleepy, my eyes feel heavy, but I tought weed would cause me to laugh uncontollably and histerically, not to mention laugh at everything. So what is it? Is it, that diffrent strains have diffrent effects, from laughing to sleepiness? Or maybe somthings off?

Yes. Sativa's will generally hype you up, while Indica's slow you down. Most strains are mixes between Indica and Sativa. The marijuana I'm currently smoking is Indica dominant, but still has obvious Sativa in it.
