does anyone know what strains has the highest thc % i know ww has a pretty high amount. what im getting at is a friend of mine told me that the us gov has a strain that has a thc level of 250% does anyone know if this is true i did'nt think it went that high whats the highest % thats known to be for a fact and what strain is it???

Typo on the 250%? Obviously it cannot be 250% as that would be 250/100 parts (not possible). If you meant 25%, it is possible. The highest ratings I have seen have been in the 25% area.

tell your friend that there is no proof G-13 (probably the 'Govt strain' he's talking about) ever existed (maybe urban legend), and they didn't have the means to test THC accurately, in those days (60's), anyway ... besides, there are a handful of U.S. Govt' supplied patients that are still alive, who say the Gov't.-grown cannabis is very average-to-poor ... and, there's a lot more to pot, than THC ... :smokin:

this is true and i know this i just wanted to make sure as i thought 25% was as high as it could get or around that anyways but i tried to tell him about the ww was at around 23% or so and he's like well thats shit compared to the gov strain that they made and it was 250% thc and i said theres no way so i wanted to see if it was true and something iv'e never heard or read about and im sure he's talking about something out of the 60's as he gets all his info from his dad his dad tells him that Acapulco gold was and is the most potent strongest strain ever found i know it's a good strain and all but the best maybe back then?? and btw is/was Acapulco gold a pure strain or was it bread from others to make it??meaning was al gold always al gold or did it have 2 diffrent mom/dad??

Acapulco Gold was a pure landrace sativa, as general opinion goes, as was Panama Red, Columbian Gold, etc. ... the true 'lost sativas' ... THAT'S what Indiana Jones should be lookin' for, in my opinion ... :jointsmile:
