    newest leaves looking purple

Hello again, Once the leaves (I just noticed the newest leaves looking purple, today ) (not buds- they started looking this way about a week and half ago) ) start to turn purple ABOUT how long to harvest? i'm leaving town for 2 weeks tomorrow.. and don't really expect my hubby to be as "ontop of the situation" as I'd like...but the trichomes are not golf ball ontop of a tee looking yet, more like spikes, so too early now, i'm guessing.

usually cooler tempatures cause purple foliage. Are you outside or in? If you are inside how are the temps with lights out? you may want to check. If you are outside and you dont have golf ball like trichomes by now then ummm... not good.

Hey 4what420 thanks for your answer -well they aren't BIG balls on there..like in most of the pics i've seen. They are all (but 1) in the ground outside,(two have been growing since spring and are about 7ft) why not good? I put a few pictures on the image gallery but I don't know where or how to upload them with this message.
ooo man oh man.. my husband doesn't smoke and doesn't like me smoking (too bad, so sad) so I'm not really counting on him to keep as close a watch as I want while I'm gone, and now it has just started RAINING again. Should I pull them up without the trichomes being (big) golf balls? I do prefer (energetic) head highs over "couch lock"(?or whatever it's called) I'm really in a predicament

those look like nice plants. the purple is just a nice little extra with the strain you're growing. nothing to worry about.
