Questions about pollinating...
For years, when I needed seeds, or wanted to cross, I'd been 'dusting' an entire female. Since I'm no longer a glutton for that many seeds, and have a more limited grow area, it doesn't seem prudent to sacrifice the whole plant for a few handfulls of seeds, most of which would go bad before I could get around to using 'em.
Many years ago, when I first started this hobby, I was told that once pollinated, a female will spend mostly all of her energy developing the seeds, and the rest of the growth could/would suffer anyway. In my circle of friends and gardeners, this knowlege was accepted as fact. (many years before the internet)
So, now I'm curious...
...If I just pollinate the lower branches, does this alter growth habit in the entire plant, or just in the branches being pollinated?
In other words, will main cola growth (trichomes, cbd's, thc...) suffer?
Thanks...

Questions about pollinating...
the plant will use its resin to make seeds
and it takes 3weeks for seeds to mature
so u can flower a plant for 6weeks then pollinate it in the last 3
that way the plants cola and everything will grow
i find that once i pollinate the plant the growth stunts and the plants uses its sources to make seeds not buds
soo yes the plants growth will suffer
