I can say from experience quickfix is definitely the way to go. Haven't missed a toke in 6 years now and thats going through 5 bottles of quickfix. From the original info I remember reading, its the same thing they use to calibrate the GC machines. Contains natural elements of urine including creatine.

I second practicing or at least being aware of the temp. I passed one at 94 degrees but I did get an odd look.
