I'm with P4B though, when I was in the scouts, we met in the school cafeteria. Why do they need a private building?

The boy scouts not only discriminate against gays (and this applies to gay troupe leaders), it also bans atheists from joining the organization. How can the government justify funding such a discriminatory organization that mandates religion and sexual preferrence?

Because it is a privately owned group. They can extend or deny membership to anyone, for any reason. I agree it's wrong though.

It has not been determined what the amount of subsidization is occurring in regards to the rent,the Boy Scouts are more than willing to pay a fair amount-what they have proposed is unfair and undetermined to be congruent with other similar property rents.

All of this is being driven by the militant homosexuals in Philly's city goverment..as they seek to make-over Philly into another Sodom and Gommorah,similar to San Francisco.

The Boy Scouts do not recieve goverment funding,they raise all of their funds. Also,why can't the Scouts have their own private buildings-especially if they are the ones who build them ! ?

Building a structure from the ground-up..builds character..good character..as well as teach all sorts of valuable skills.

Due to modern liberalism though,having a good character,is percieved as a fatal flaw..a dirty word.
