Dude, someone needs another bongload or two.....or a math class... an 8 inch by 8 inch pan makes 16 brownies when you cut it correctly. Three horiztonal cuts and three vertical cuts result in 16 pieces that should do you just fine with mids or anything above that...
In other words cut the cake in half horizontally and vertically , then cut it again to equal 16 squares... get it? Not trying to be a dick, I hope you understand. Enjoy!!

Brownies for Beginners ... done right in a couple of hours
Hi all,
I am going to try to make these tonight. Hopefully they will turn out good.
SO I intend to follow the directions with making the oil first, I have atleast 1 cup of finely ground mids ( hey you take what you can get ) so that should do me just fine.
Making my own topping with really bitter chocolate, coconut and finely ground pecans almost like a German Chocolate Cake but not quite.
If I am questioning if I did the oil correctly I will just bake the green into the brownie, though I did buy cheese cloth at the grocer last night. So when I am done being lazy I will make brownies.

The oil came out to be a dark olive green color, and the bud was a very dark brown color. I kept it to a bare boil, ( where it is barely boiling, nearly a simmer but not quite.) for 22 minutes. I don't know if I overcooked the oil or not but I thought the oil smelled of herb. It is so tricky to get a proper temp on our stove since it is as and rather old at that.
At any rate they are in the oven baking for 40 minutes, then I have to apply the topping mixture I created. Can't wait my back is killing me tonight.
