Take 1 class initially as a student-at-large to make sure you like it.
If you do really well in the class, you'll have a foot in the door for the application process. Then, apply for a part-time internship in the media/communications field. Even if you end up doing grunt work, it will be your chance to see what goes on behind the scenes & make good connections. Also, start looking on Amazon.com for books on film making & buy them used to save cash.

I got into debt in highschool from buying vehicles and then selling them for too much less than I paid for them. 9 to be exact. Well, I've been paying it off slowly but surely. I tried a technical college as soon as I graduated high school. A business and marketing program, I decided, was nothing of interest to me and I dropped out after the first semester.
