If you grind up your nugs as opposed to breaking them up, you will have a much better consistency when you are smoking. My experience is that grinding up herb before smoking it it a bong makes it stay cherried much better, and easier to hit. Plus if your grinder has a kief catcher, you earn frequent flyer miles!

if the weed is ground and packed well air can flow easily through it which allows for better burning, bigger hits, and conservation because it burns evenly and you can put it out easily

Couple of questions, would it work to grind it up then use it in a bowl that is open, not the enclosed kinds? Or for like a pincher or something like that where it is a direct shot to your mouth without lots of burnt weed flying in your mouth? Secondly, what is the easiest way to put out a joint or a bowl or etc...? Sorry for jumping in here, but I figured it's related and might help the guy as well.

Yeah it would work to put in a bowl that it open. I personally have never used the enclosed kind, im unsure what you mean by that. The best way to put out a bowl is to cover it with something that will cover the whole bowl and wont melt. No oxygen means no burning. Hope this helps.

Grinding up weed is always the best option. It is always best to use a screen with ground up weed otherwise it will just fall through the hole.

its fine if the bowls opern, you should always grind up weed whenever you smoke it

I like using a little one hitter with my ground up weed. It really seems to give me a good hit.And its so small,you can load it up and stick it in your pocket for that little emergency hit.:jointsmile:
